I only used Croft Pet Services once when I asked them to look after 5 cats - 3 pampered pets indoors and 2 strays in a garden shed. The initial booking was for 10 days but due to circumstances beyond my control it was to be 8 long months before they saw me again! What a nightmare scenario that could have been but for that fantastic team! Any worries were dispelled early on when it became clear everything was under control and no matter how often my return dates were changed I was met with the same calm assurance that the cats were all fine and they'd keep visiting until I got back. Every cat's needs were met and concern for the ones outdoors when temperatures plummeted were quickly allayed when I was informed they'd already been issued with heat pads! Friendly, reliable, dependable, helpful, after 8 months of continuous assistance I ran out of superlatives - they're just Simply the Best! All I expected was for the cats to be cared for. I did not expect to return each time to a spotlessly clean house! No mean feat with 3 endlessly messy felines! But, best of all the cats were clearly content and that spoke volumes.
The knowledge that the cats were fine, I could check any time without feeling I was being a nuisance, and anything in the house they thought needed attention, mail forwarding for example, it was done. They do everything you expect but just go that extra mile. Croft Pet Services are, quite simply, the best I've ever encountered in over 20 years and I cannot praise them highly enough. I cannot recommend highly enough Croft Pet Services for their reliability, flexability and friendly service. They have always gone out of their way to be available even at short notice. The peace of mind knowing our dog is being well walked and cared for while we are out is invaluable.

My two dogs have been staying with Croft many times over the past four years or so. They have been for both short and for much longer visits for up to a month. For an honest opinion of Croft's services, I have no greater praise to convey than the opinion of my dogs themselves. When Croft's staff come to collect the dogs, the dogs do not bother with goodbyes - they simply dash out of the house and into the Croft van. Sometimes, when I'm in a different part of the country, I have to take the dogs to other, formal kennels instead and on each of those occasions I have had to drag them there. Not so with Croft. In fact sometimes my dogs are even a little reluctant to come home again. At Croft they are treated like important visitors whereas at other kennels they are treated like prisoners. At Croft they live with the family and are treated as such. For my dogs Croft truly is a home from home. The service provided by Croft is second to none: they have always been able to fit our dogs in and even take the dogs on short notice when necessary and they will collect from our house in town or allow us to bring them according to our needs.
